Description
Robusta Ground Coffee
Indonesia Standard Quality Grade

Robusta Ground Coffee (Coffea canephora) is produced from carefully selected Indonesian Robusta coffee beans that are roasted and ground to create a bold, aromatic, and full-bodied coffee product. Robusta is recognized for its strong flavor, pronounced body, distinctive aroma, and naturally higher caffeine content, making it suitable for commercial coffee, espresso, instant coffee, and various food and beverage applications.
ORIGIN:
Coffea canephora is native to tropical regions of Central and Western Africa and is now widely cultivated in tropical coffee-producing countries, including Indonesia. Indonesian Robusta is grown across several regions, particularly in Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Bali, and other suitable coffee-growing areas.
PLANTING:
Thrives in warm tropical climates and generally grows well in lowland to medium-altitude areas, depending on local growing conditions. Robusta prefers fertile, well-drained soil with adequate rainfall and sunlight. Healthy coffee seedlings are planted in prepared soil and maintained through regular pruning, fertilization, weed control, and pest management.
HARVESTING & PROCESSING:
Harvesting: Coffee cherries are harvested when they reach full maturity and develop a deep red color. Ripe cherries are selectively picked or harvested and sorted to remove immature or defective cherries.
Processing: The harvested cherries are processed using methods such as natural, washed, or honey processing. The coffee beans are then dried to the appropriate moisture level, hulled, graded, and sorted according to quality specifications.
Roasting: Selected green Robusta beans are roasted under controlled temperature and time conditions to develop their desired aroma, flavor, body, color, and roast profile.
Grinding: The roasted Robusta beans are ground to a controlled particle size according to the intended brewing method, such as fine, medium, or coarse grinding.
