Simplicia Daun

A leaf simplisia (scientifically known as Folium) is a natural medicinal plant leaf that has been dried without altering its active chemical components and has not undergone any further chemical processing.In traditional medicine and pharmacognosy, the term simplisia refers to raw natural materials (from plants, animals, or minerals) that are dried to be used as ingredients for herbal medicine or supplements. Therefore, a “leaf simplisia” is simply a dried whole leaf, chopped leaves, or pure leaf powder ready for brewing or extraction.
