Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri) is a tropical medicinal herb widely found in Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia. In Indonesian traditional medicine, meniran has been used for generations as an herbal remedy, particularly for supporting immune health and maintaining overall wellness.
ORIGIN:
Native to tropical regions of Asia, including Indonesia. Meniran commonly grows wild in gardens, fields, roadsides, plantations, and other open areas with sufficient sunlight and moisture.
PLANTING:
Meniran thrives in warm tropical climates with temperatures around 20–30°C and adequate moisture. It grows well in loose, fertile, and well-drained soil. The plant can be propagated from seeds and is generally cultivated in areas with sufficient sunlight.
HARVESTING:
- Timing: Harvested when the plant has developed fully, generally around 2–3 months after planting, before or during the flowering and fruiting stage.
